Salomon Contemporary, New York is proud to begin its 2010/2011 season with Plank Road, a group show that celebrates the five-year anniversary of Salomon Contemporary Warehouse, East Hampton with over 30 works in various media that highlight the exhibition program. In August 2005 the gallery opened with a Michael Halsband photography exhibition. Since then, Salomon Contemporary has had the privilege of working with many talented emerging and internationally acclaimed contemporary artists. Their work will now be presented together in our Chelsea space for the first time.

Salomon Contemporary Warehouse, located at 6 Plank Road, East Hampton, was founded in 2005 by former director of Mary Boone Gallery, New York, James Salomon, who operated the seasonal program in East Hampton while working with Mary Boone. Salomon Contemporary expanded and opened its Chelsea location in January 2010.
