ABOUT ALICE AYCOCK

Alice Aycock lives and works in New York. She received a B.A. from Douglass College, New Jersey and M.A. from Hunter College, New York. Aycock has exhibited at the Venice Biennale, Documenta VI and VIII, the Whitney Biennial, and in important museums and galleries throughout the world. Alice Aycock's public installations can be found in many major cities in the U.S., and other works can be found in the collections of The Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, The Brooklyn Museum, the Louis Vuitton Foundation, LA County Museum, and the National Gallery. In 2013, Aycock's third retrospective, a survey of drawings, was presented at the Parrish Art Museum, Southampton and Grey Art Gallery at New York University. In 2014, The Fund for Park Avenue, in conjunction with the City of New York's Department of Parks & Recreation and Galerie Thomas Schulte (Berlin) presented Alice Aycock: Paper Chase on Park Avenue.
